Metered Chemical Injection
Storage tank, metering pump and injection quill form the core of a controlled H₂S scavenger dosing system.
High-active monoethanolamine-based triazine scavenger for oil & gas H₂S treatment systems. H2S-80 is positioned as a very-high-active concentrated grade where customers want maximum active concentration per package for specialist treatment programs. Its higher viscosity should be considered when selecting pumps, transfer lines and field dosing equipment.
EXPLORAX H2S-80 is a water-based MEA-triazine solution designed for customers who prefer a higher-active commercial grade. Compared with lower-active versions, the 80% format delivers more active scavenger per unit volume while providing maximum active delivery per unit volume. Because the grade is substantially more viscous than lower-active versions, storage, transfer and metering hardware should be selected accordingly.
Clear to pale-yellow liquid with mild amine odour and full water solubility.
Useful where transport efficiency and active concentration per package matter.
Designed for metering into gas or production-treatment systems where dosage is established by system demand.
Final dosage depends on inlet H₂S, flow, pressure, contact conditions and treatment target.
Storage tank, metering pump and injection quill form the core of a controlled H₂S scavenger dosing system.
Sour stream contacts triazine chemistry and exits with reduced H₂S concentration.
Scavenger injection can be integrated around separators, gas outlets and downstream process equipment.
The values below are taken directly from the current parameter sheet supplied for MEA Triazine 80 Grade.
The internal page should communicate H₂S scavenging as a controlled treatment sequence rather than a single generic claim. In practice, the required dose and contact conditions depend on the actual sour stream and operating target.
The scavenger is metered into the sour gas or process stream, mixed with the stream, allowed to contact and react, and followed by verification of the treated outlet. The attached process graphic is presented as an application illustration rather than a fixed engineering design.
Establish inlet H₂S concentration and treatment target.
Meter H2S-80 at a controlled injection point suited to the process.
Provide adequate mixing and residence time for the scavenging reaction.
Measure downstream H₂S and optimize dosage against actual performance.
Continuous or staged scavenger injection into sour gas streams where a liquid MEA-triazine treatment route is appropriate.
Injection around separator gas outlets or downstream production-treatment equipment to reduce H₂S before further handling.
Can be evaluated in selected hydrocarbon or process liquid applications where H₂S control is required and compatibility is confirmed.
Useful as a treatment concept for tanks, transfer systems and process lines when H₂S control is required during handling.
Metered injection can be considered where mixing and contact time in the line support the intended treatment objective.
Dosage should be optimized using actual inlet H₂S, flow, temperature, pressure and downstream target values.
The 50% grade is positioned as a balanced mid-active supply format. It delivers more active chemistry per package than H2S-40 while retaining greater carrier content than the 60% and 80% grades. Final pack size and shipment configuration should follow the approved commercial specification.
IBC / drum / bulk options to be confirmed against the current commercial pack specification.
Higher active content means less carrier water is shipped per unit of active chemistry than with 40% or 50% versio
250–400 mPa·s viscosity at 25°C indicates a significantly more viscous concentrated liquid; pump selection, line sizing and transfer conditions should be checked for the intended installation.
Final storage temperature and shelf-life statements should be added from the approved TDS / MSDS.
This sample uses only supported product specifications and keeps dosage/performance claims application-dependent until field or lab data are supplied.
The current specification is 78–80 wt.% active content.
The current specification is 250–400 mPa·s at 25°C.
Yes. The supplied parameter sheet describes the grade as water-soluble.
Clear to pale-yellow liquid with mild amine odour.
The current parameter sheet gives pH 10–12 at 25°C.
A fixed dosage is not stated in the supplied parameter sheet. Dosage should be established using inlet H₂S, flow, contact conditions and the required outlet target.
It can be presented as a metered-injection treatment concept, but the exact injection design must be qualified for the actual process.
Calculated density is 1.179–1.185 g/mL at 25°C.
Calculated specific gravity is 1.183–1.189 at 25°C/25°C.
Not in the supplied parameter sheet. Shelf life should be added only from the approved current TDS or commercial specification.
Share inlet H₂S, flow, pressure, temperature, gas/liquid phase and outlet target. That information is needed to design a meaningful qualification program.
