More profoundly, the maintenance and sustenance of the entire universe is viewed as Vishnu's continuous cosmic sacrifice. Every breath, every moment of preservation is His ongoing yajña. The Lord sacrifices His transcendent position to enter the material realm repeatedly, which is the ultimate act of yajña for the benefit of all souls.
