शब्दार्थ:
ॐ पुरुषाय नमः।
विवेचन:
जो प्रत्येक शरीरात निवास करतो आणि विश्वामध्ये चैतन्यरूपाने भरून राहतो, तो पुरुष. ‘पुरी शेते’ म्हणजे शरीररूपी पुरीत जो वास करतो, तो पुरुष असे म्हणतात. पूर्णत्व, जागरूकता आणि साक्षीभाव या अर्थांनीही हे नाव अत्यंत गूढ आहे.
अर्थ:
जो शरीरामध्ये वास करतो.

Mythology / Philosophy:
This helps us see humanity as one family, all part of the same cosmic being. It creates ethical frameworks where we protect all people because we're all extensions of the same divine Person.
Spiritual Message:
The famous Purusha Sukta (Rig Veda 10.90) describes how Vishnu, as the Purusha, sacrificed Himself to create the universe - from His body came all of society and nature. The Bhagavata Purana (Canto 3) shows this cosmic form reclining, with Brahma emerging from His navel to continue creation.
