विवेचन:
जो सर्वकाही पाहतो पण कोणत्याही कर्माने बांधला जात नाही, तो साक्षी. तो सर्वांच्या कृती, भावना, विचार आणि प्रेरणा जाणून असतो. निर्लेप राहून सर्व अनुभवांचा जाणकार असलेले तत्त्व म्हणजे परमसाक्षी.
अर्थ:
सर्व कर्मांचा प्रत्यक्ष पाहणारा.

Spiritual Message:
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (3.7.23) describes the witness as "the unseen seer within." In the Mahabharata (Shanti Parva 299), Krishna acts as Arjuna's witness during the Bhagavad Gita teaching, observing his moral struggle without interfering - just as Vishnu calmly observed gods and demons fighting during the ocean churning.
