जो नर आणि सिंह अशा अद्भुत अवताररूपाने प्रकट झाला, तो नारसिंहवपुः. भक्तांचे रक्षण आणि अधर्माचा नाश करण्यासाठी त्याने हे विक्राळ पण करुणामय रूप धारण केले. त्याच्या या नावात न्याय, शक्ती आणि भक्तवत्सलता एकत्र दिसते.
अर्थ:
नरसिंहाचे शरीर धारण करणारा.

Mythology / Philosophy:
This unique form shows that divine protection can come in unexpected ways. It teaches us to face fear and injustice with controlled strength - powerful like a lion but guided by human wisdom and compassion.
Spiritual Message:
The Bhagavata Purana (Canto 7, Chapters 8–10) tells the famous story: The demon king Hiranyakashipu had blessings that made him nearly invincible - he couldn't be killed indoors or outdoors, day or night, by man or animal. When he tortured his own son Prahlada for worshipping Vishnu, the Lord appeared from a pillar at twilight (neither day nor night), as Narasimha (neither man nor animal), and killed him on His lap (neither inside nor outside), using only claws (not weapons).
