ॐ वषट्काराय नमः।
विवेचन:
यज्ञकर्मात ‘वषट्’ या उच्चाराने ज्याला आहुती अर्पण केली जाते, तो वषट्कार. यज्ञ, मंत्र, आहुती आणि त्याचा स्वीकारकर्ता ही सर्व तत्त्वे त्याच्यात एकरूप होतात. तोच यज्ञस्वरूप, पूजास्वरूप आणि देवतांना पोहोचणाऱ्या अर्पणाचा अधिष्ठाता आहे.
अर्थ:
ज्याच्यासाठी यज्ञात आहुती दिली जाते.

The Bhagavata Purana (Canto 3) shows Vishnu receiving the gods' offerings during creation, including when He appeared as Varaha (the boar) to rescue the Earth.
