Humidification Plant Engery Saving

In every textile mill, the Humidification Plant (H-Plant) is the heartbeat of production—keeping temperature and humidity just right for the quality yarn. But here’s the reality: most H-Plants are designed for peak summer conditions and peak load, they end up running at full load all year and consume nearly 20% energy of a Spinning plant. The outcome? Wasted energy, higher costs, and constant manual intervention.
We recently implemented our solution in a textile unit in Gujarat using Danfoss MCX Controller with Danfoss VLT IP55 Drives. The system now adjusts automatically based on actual humidity and temperature needs.

The results:

7.9 lakh units saved annually
36.45% average unit savings
₹34 lakh cut from yearly energy bills
Payback within 5+ months

For us, it’s not just about reducing electricity bills—it’s about making textile plants smarter, sustainable, and future-ready.
🌍 At T4 Texultants, together with Danfoss, we’re proud to bring this transformation to the industry.

Yarn Twisting Technology

In order to better explain the DirecTwist technology developed by AGTEKS, it is necessary to understand yarn twisting and doubling technologies. It is also important to express the benefits gained from both doubling and twisting processes.

What is twisting?

Twisting is the process of wrapping fibers around the yarn axis to provide resistance to tension forces during fabric formation.

For example, in weaving, both “S” and “Z” twist yarns are used in the warp, creating a patterned appearance due to different light reflections from these yarns.

Types of Twists by Yarn Count

  • Single ply twisting
  • Double plied twisting
  • Multiple plied twisting

Types of Twists by Twist Count

  • Soft twisting
  • Normal twisting
  • Hard twisting
  • Crimp twisting
  • Fancy twisting

Purpose of Multiplied Twisting

  • Adding strength to a single-ply yarn
  • Obtaining yarns with various appearances
  • Creating different looks and effects on fabric
  • Producing yarns with multiple plies and structures

Doubling and Twisting Machines

Twisting machines fold and twist multiple yarns and resemble doubling machines. Their main difference is the presence of twisting units, enabling both doubling and twisting.

Doubling & Twisting in Ring Twisting Machines

Ring twisting machines are widely used for flat twisting and can perform both single and double twisting.

Doubling & Twisting in Two-for-One Twisting Machines

The main tasks of this machine are:

  • Giving two twists to the yarn per revolution
  • Adding strength by twisting yarns from different bobbins
  • Winding twisted yarns at constant tension in long bobbins
  • Increasing efficiency with pre-doubling

Duties of Doubling Machines

  • Preparing twisting machines by doubling single-ply yarns with equal tension
  • Cleansing yarns before doubling using filtering devices
  • Improving operation flow with long-length bobbin winding

DirecTwist Technology

DirecTwist technology developed by AGTEKS performs doubling and twisting simultaneously by acting directly on the yarn. Unlike traditional ring or “2-for-1” systems, DirecTwist operates at double or higher cycle speeds.

While conventional methods require a bobbin transfer process, DirecTwist allows winding directly from bobbin to bobbin, reducing processing steps and improving efficiency.

The system integrates the flexibility of ring twisting machines with the high efficiency of the “two-for-one” method, offering advanced performance.
