CONCRETE REPAIR ADDITIVES

Improves repair mortar strength for patch and structural repair applications. Silica fume and colloidal silica additives that build a denser, stronger bond between repair material and existing concrete.

Strength Enhancers
AppearanceGrey powder / liquid
SiO2 content≥ 85% (silica fume)
Typical dosage5 – 12%
EffectHigher bond & compressive strength
01

How strength enhancement works

STEP 1 — DISPERSION

Ultra-fine particles fill the matrix

Silica fume and colloidal silica particles are far finer than cement, packing the spaces between cement grains in the repair mortar.

STEP 2 — REACTION

Reacts with free lime

The reactive silica consumes calcium hydroxide released during hydration, forming additional binding compounds at the patch interface.

STEP 3 — BOND STRENGTH

Higher strength, denser bond

The result is higher compressive and bond strength between the repair mortar and the existing concrete substrate.
