How Dirt Pick-Up Resistance Works

The low-surface-energy fluorosurfactant migrates preferentially to the outer surface of the coating as the film cures.

By reducing the coating's surface energy, the additive minimizes the adhesive forces between the surface and airborne dirt, dust and soot particles.
Dirt Sheds with Rain or Wind
