How levelling works
Disperses through the film
The levelling agent distributes through the wet coating film as soon as it's applied, ahead of gelation.
Equalizes surface tension
By evening out surface tension gradients across the film, it counteracts the pull that causes ridges, cratering, and Bénard cells.
Film flattens before gelling
The film has time to flow and self-level before the resin gels, producing a smooth, uniform, glass-like finish.
