How Stain Resistance Works
Modifies the Cured Film Surface
The SRC additive migrates to the surface of the curing coating, forming a low-energy, non-porous outer layer.
Limits Contaminant Penetration
Oils, tannins, and common contaminants have a harder time wetting or penetrating the modified surface, staying closer to the top.
Easier Cleaning & Stain Release
Because contaminants remain near the surface rather than soaking in, routine cleaning removes them before they leave a permanent stain.
