How It Works
The IPM-971 draws air through a selected sampling media using a precision-controlled diaphragm pump. Depending on the application, the sampler can be connected to filter holders, impingers, activated charcoal tubes, or other sampling accessories.
Particulate matter is collected on filter papers, gaseous pollutants are absorbed in impinger solutions, and VOCs or solvent vapors are captured using activated charcoal tubes for subsequent laboratory analysis. The programmable timer allows automatic start and stop operation, while pulse mode enables intermittent sampling for extended monitoring periods.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery and inbuilt charging circuit allow uninterrupted sampling both on battery power and while connected to AC mains.
