How It Works

The IPM-COD-321 utilizes the dichromate digestion colorimetric method, where the water sample is digested using pre-prepared reagent vials under controlled temperature conditions.

During digestion, oxidizable organic matter present in the sample reacts with potassium dichromate. After digestion, the analyzer measures the absorbance of the sample using dual-wavelength UV-Visible spectrophotometry.

The instrument automatically calculates and displays the COD concentration based on pre-programmed calibration curves, ensuring accurate, reliable, and repeatable analytical results.
