Advanced COD Digestion System for Water & Wastewater Analysis manufacturer, supplier, and exporter, Mumbai-India.
The INSTRUMEX COD Digester Series is a high-performance laboratory digestion system designed for the preparation of water and wastewater samples prior to Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) analysis. Available in 6, 9, and 15 sample configurations, the system utilizes a microprocessor-based temperature and timer controller to ensure precise digestion conditions and reliable analytical results.
Designed as per APHA standard methods, the COD Digester provides uniform heating, accurate temperature control, and automated operation, making it ideal for environmental laboratories, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), industrial facilities, research institutions, and water quality monitoring applications.

How It Works
The COD Digester prepares samples for COD analysis by heating them under controlled conditions with digestion reagents in sealed digestion vessels.
The microprocessor-controlled heating system maintains a stable digestion temperature throughout the analysis period. Once the programmed digestion cycle is complete, the system automatically shuts off and alerts the user through an audible buzzer.
After digestion, the samples can be analyzed using a COD spectrophotometer or photometer to determine the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) concentration.
